QuikRead go® CRP+Hb Kit
The QuikRead go® CRP+Hb Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of C-reactive protein and hemoglobin. It is intended for use in the QuikRead go® analyser. With a measurement duration of only 2 minutes, the user obtains a particularly fast result that can immediately contribute to the diagnosis and treatment. While the CRP value provides initial information about an existing infection or an acute inflammatory response, the Hb value indicates the possibility of anemia or other patient conditions.
For the determination of both parameters, only a drop of blood from the patient’s fingertip is required. The blood is collected via capillary and transferred to the cuvette. The cuvette is then inserted into the measurement well of the QuikRead go® testing device for the determination of CRP and Hb. The measurement range for CRP is between 5 and 200 mg/l. For an extended measurement range between 0.5 to 200 mg/l, the “wrCRP+Hb Kit” must be used.
