LineGene Bordetella Pertussis Test Kit
The LineGene Bordetella pertussis test kit from BIOER is used for theĀ qualitative detection of Bordetella pertussis in human pharyngeal swabs. TheĀ reagentsĀ included in the kit areĀ ready-to-use, so that only a few pipetting steps are required for sample preparation. The reaction vessels remain closed throughout the test and evaluation, which takes onlyĀ 60 minutes, so thatĀ aerosol formation is prevented. This minimises the risk of contamination and infection.
Bordotella pertussis is a bacterium of the genus Bordetella that causes whooping cough in children and adults. The scope of delivery includes a kit that is sufficientĀ for testing 48 samples. The testĀ does not show any cross-reactionsĀ with other pathogens, such as influenza, RSV or the adenovirus. The evaluation is carried out with test systems from BIOER, including theĀ LineGene MINI S.
