QuikRead go® HbA1c Kit

The QuikRead go® HbA1c Kit is used for the quantitative determination of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and aids in the determination of long-term blood sugar levels as well as in the initial diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. The test procedure is quick and easy, providing reliable results within a few minutes.

For the measurement, 1 µl of capillary blood is taken with a sample collector and transferred to a pre-filled cuvette. Subsequently, the cuvette is sealed with a stopper and inserted into the measurement well of QuikRead go® analyser. The results are available in just under 6 minutes.

HbA1c is considered a reliable marker in blood sugar determination. Since glucose remains bound to hemoglobin throughout the lifespan of red blood cells, the HbA1c value reflects the average blood sugar level over the last 2-3 months.

The manufacturer recommends regular quality control checks with the HbA1c quality control solution.
