LineGene HSV Test-Kit
The LineGene HSV test kit from BIOER is used for theĀ nucleic acid typing detection of herpes simplex 1 and 2Ā from urethral or cervical swabs. The automated evaluation is performed in onlyĀ 32 minutesĀ using a BIOER PCR system, such as theĀ LineGene MINI S. AllĀ reagentsĀ contained in the kit areĀ ready-to-use, so that only a few pipetting steps are necessary for sample preparation.
The test serves as anĀ aid in the diagnosis and differentiation of a herpes infection. HSV (herpes simplex virus) is a worldwide common pathogen that causes lip or genital herpes.
Since the reaction vessel remains closed throughout after preparation of the sample and no longer needs to be opened,Ā no aerosolsĀ are produced. This results in aĀ low risk of infection and contamination.
