The robust finish, the securely connected blade and the ribbed grip make the safety scalpel safe to use for precision operations. For left or right handed use – this scalpel’s safety mechanism is easy to use with one hand.
The safety mechanism

Neox safety scalpels feature a transparent blade cover that surrounds the scalpel blade and protects the user from injury. The safety cover is pulled back before use – the blade is now exposed and the scalpel can be used as usual. When it is not in use, the blade cover is pushed back over the blade – this position is reversible. The cover is pushed over the blade and when the scalpel is ready to be disposed of, the final lock is then activated. There will be an audible click when the blade protector slots into the use or protection position, as well as for the final lock.
