The Ethyway V2 breathalyser provides a quick and precise measurement of the blood alcohol level through the patient’s exhaled breath. The use of single-use mouthpieces makes the alcohol measurement particularly hygienic, as infectious transmissions are effectively prevented. The internal memory of the Ethyway V2 saves the previous 10 test results so that they can be later reviewed. Calibration of the breathalyser must be done every 12 months, at the latest.

In order to receive reliable test results from the Ethyway V2 breathalyser, the measurement may only be taken at least 20 minutes after the last drink of alcohol or 5 minutes after the last consumption of foods, drinks, medications or cigarettes.
